Websites in code
For the fastest pages, features no builder offers, and a site that costs next to nothing to run. Built in code and edited the way you prefer: changes on request, or a CMS of your choice.
When code fits
A fast site that does exactly what the company needs.
04 points
01
Speed you can measure
Plain HTML loads fast on any phone. I measure the speed before launch and show you the numbers, rather than promising a score.
02
Features no builder offers
Calculators, logins, data from your other systems, forms that land in your own database: in code the site does what the company needs.
03
A low running cost
A static site runs on hosting that is free or close to it. You pay for the domain, and for my hours only when you ask for changes.
04
Content edited your way
Changes on request by the hour, a simple CMS for posts and news, or a full CMS such as Sanity for a marketing team.
When I would pick something else
Code is not the answer to every site.
02 points
01
A team that builds new pages itself
If marketing lays out new pages on its own every week, a visual builder fits better.

Motion first, live next month
A campaign site built around animation is quicker to make in Framer.

What I build in code
New site or redesign
A new company site, or a redesign of the one you have, designed and built by one person in Webflow, Framer or code. Structure, copy, CMS and launch included.
Service
Migration from Webflow to custom code
The same site, rebuilt in code and moved to your own server. The monthly plan stops, the pages get lighter, and hosting and SEO are yours to control.
Service
Web apps
For when a website is not enough: client portals, member areas, dashboards and small tools, built in code and hosted beside your site.
Service
Integrations
Your site connected to the tools the company already runs on: forms into the CRM, analytics that measures the right things, and consent that holds tags back.
Service
Automations
The routine work around the site done by a workflow: enquiries routed and sorted, the CMS kept in step with your other tools, reports sent on their own.
Service
Speed score optimization
Images, scripts, fonts and settings tuned on the site you have, in Webflow, Framer or code, and measured before and after. Faster pages rank better and lose fewer visitors.
Service
Ongoing maintenance
Updates, fixes, new sections and CMS changes on your site, whether it runs on Webflow, Framer or code, live in days. You see an estimate in hours first and pay for the hours used.
Service
How you edit a site in code
Three ways to change it. Pick one, or mix them.
01
Changes on request
Send me what to change; small edits take minutes and you pay for the time, USD 40 an hour. No CMS to learn, nothing to break.
02
A simple CMS
Posts, news, team and offers edited in a simple panel and stored with the site. Free to run, enough for one to three editors.
03
A CMS of your choice
Sanity, Storyblok or another headless CMS for a marketing team that publishes often, with previews and roles.
Questions
Can I edit the site myself?
Yes. With a simple CMS or a full one such as Sanity, your team edits texts, images and posts. New layouts and features are developer work.
What does it cost to run?
On static hosting, close to nothing: the domain, and a CMS plan only if your team outgrows the free one.
What if we stop working together?
The code sits in your repository, the hosting and the domain are on your accounts, and a short guide explains how the site is built. Any developer who knows the stack can take over.
Is a coded site better for SEO?
Content and structure decide rankings. Code gives you full control and fast pages, not a guaranteed position.
How is the work billed?
A new site gets a fixed price after a short brief. Changes are USD 40 an hour, with an estimate before I start and no retainer.
What clients say.
From clients I built sites for. A card with a site opens its case study.
